Check HR Sheet and Coil Price list in Mumbai, view Astm A1011 Indian Equivalent Standards
Different corrosion-resistant stainless steel grades are offered in the hot rolled stainless steel plate. They work well in a variety of altitude, high temperature applications. Hot rolling provides many advantages, including a high degree of workability and the ability to recycle materials. Hot Rolled Stainless Steel Sheet that has been processed has a higher degree of formability, making it simpler to deal with in the subsequent processing steps.
A huge, rectangular metal slab, commonly referred to as a billet, is needed for the hot rolling process. First, the billet is heated before being crushed into a large roll and rolling through multiple rollers while still hot. This process aids the makers in getting the HR Sheet to the desired proportions. The identical material is then twisted into coil rolls, which are then allowed to cool to ambient temperature. The materials are then cut into the desired shapes, and they are prepared for packaging.

The HR finish stainless steel sheet also comes with several advantages, which includes:
- They are more affordable than cold-rolled plates. This is due to the fact that the hot rolling technique requires less processing.
- They are more workable and formable since the hot rolling operation is done at such a high temperature.
- The HR Plate is subjected to the hot rolling process, in which the steel is gradually cooled down to assist the material normalise its structure. This in turn aids in the plate becoming free of all internal tensions of any kind.
In situations where tight tolerances are not required, a variety of applications for hot-rolled high strength steel plates are possible. Because hot rolled steel might contract during the cooling process, there is very little control over a high rolled steel's shape. They are typically utilised in building materials, farm machinery, vehicle parts, etc. see India's Cost of Hot Rolled Steel Plate
